SNL mocks Ted Cruz and Joe Rogan in cringey and unfunny new sketch

Saturday Night Live is still attempting to be funny and once again failing to measure up.

The newest sketch in the late-night comedy show had the cast dress up as Senator Ted Cruz, Big Bird, and Joe Rogan. It centered around a Twitter argument that happened between Big Bird’s account and Cruz’s.

You can read more about the argument here: https://townhall.com

After a back and forth between Cruz and Big Bird, the cast brought out the big guns: Pete Davidson playing Joe Rogan. Davidson portrayed Rogan as the world’s leading medical doctor and told Big Bird to take horse medicine to beat COVID.

SNL has gone from bad to worse as it integrates more politics and less funny into its weekly show. The ratings show it, the people know it, but the question is, what happens to the show now?

Every time I think the comedic community has hit the bottom of the comedy barrel, they somehow find a new level of unfunniness https://t.co/ga7azYTqXy

There were a hundred ways to do this sketch and have it be funny. The show now is just lazy mediocre hacks. https://t.co/txIq8j9Qyr
