JPMorgan Chase backpedals on decision to not process tickets for Defense of Liberty Event

Paul Curtman, the host of The Paul Curtman Show on NewsTalk STL Saturdays at 12 pm, discussed his dispute with JPMorgan Chase.

Paul has been putting together the Defense of Liberty event with many other Missouri state leaders for 10 years. He has never had an issue with conducting this event and using WePay, the payment processor owned by JPMorgan Chase, to process tickets. His next event had Donald Trump Jr. as one of the keynote speakers. Since the announcement, the largest bank has cut ties with Defense of Liberty claiming they do not want to associate and work with an event promoting, “hate, violence, racial intolerance, or terrorism.”

I held the first Defense of Liberty event 10 years ago & have since hosted guests of different skin color, nationality, religion etc. – but we all came together to promote our shared values of personal & economic freedom.
We can’t be cancelled. We won’t be stopped. @BillEigel

Paul Curtman spoke with Mike Ferguson in the Morning about the latest developments.

Missouri’s Attorney General Eric Schmitt called into Colombo and Katie after he wrote a letter to CEO Jamie Dimon.

This Cancel Culture nonsense has to stop.

JP Morgan Chase targeted a conservative political event here in Missouri. The event sponsors were forced to cancel it. That’s unacceptable.
