We need Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s help again. St. Louis County Executive Sam Page put out another decree of a mask mandate in the county. His first attempt at this measure was struck down by the courts and by the county council. What does this new mandate entail?
Missouri’s Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed a lawsuit against his first order back in July, and since then, there hasn’t been a mask mandate in the county put in place. Schmitt said this will happen again.
Schmitt said this new mandate by Sam page is an illegal order, and in the face of all the science pointing to decreased cases of COVID, this order is really about ego and power not “the science.”
