We’ve all heard the term “slippery slope.” It’s a logical fallacy — the idea that taking one course of action will inevitably lead to a series of negative events. It’s a valid point — until it isn’t.
Remember the good old days when we were arguing about whether or not trans students should be allowed to use the restroom of their choice in schools? That was six or seven years ago. It wasn’t that long ago that we were arguing about whether or not biological male athletes should be allowed to compete with biological females — like, a month.
Reading your article helped me a lot and I agree with you. But I still have some doubts, can you clarify for me? I’ll keep an eye out for your answers.
