Spire sends out email warning customers of a shutdown that could happen in December

Natural gas company Spire sent out a chilling email to their customers letting them know that in December there could be a shutdown happening.

There is no guarantee that the pipeline will be operating beyond December 13th, the middle of winter.

Customers were completely caught off guard after reading the email that was sent out this morning, concerned with what happens if the pipeline is not operable and how will they keep warm this winter.
