I read the Politico report this week where they talked to Nancy Pelosi about the end of the Biden presidency and she displayed her ongoing attempt to rewrite history. I think it’s important from time to time to slow down and really pay attention to exactly what our elected officials say about a specific issue, because it can expose a whole lot about how that person thinks and acts well beyond the issue at hand. And this was a perfect example of that!
Talking to Politico this week the former House Speaker denied knowing anything about former President Joe Biden’s mental decline while he was in office, while calling out anyone who did know. Saying they “should have acted.” Pelosi said repeatedly she didn’t know Biden had experienced any sort of decline, stating “I didn’t know, but I do think that those who did know should have acted upon that information. … There was the staff saying the family knew, the family saying the staff knew, I don’t know but they should have acted sooner.”
And that’s not all. Despite many accounts over the last two years from multiple areas including the DC press, people within the Biden team and family, and officials from within the Democrat party, that have all said that Pelosi was the driving force behind urging Biden to drop out of the 2024 election, she repeated her denial of doing that, claiming she never asked Joe to drop out, “I only said to President Biden, ‘I’ve come to question the polling that you have and how your campaign is being conducted.’ I didn’t ask him not to run or anything like that.” Adding, “This is what I asked: ‘I would hope that we could have some other pollsters come in and sit with your pollster and discuss what they hear out there.'” She also claimed that she told him to get a mental evaluation, “And I did say this, ‘I think the public would like to hear that you’ve had a testing that demonstrates that you can serve the next [term],'”
When asked how Biden responded to all this, Pelosi said “We were prayerful, you know, Catholic. We’re prayerful. We had our rosaries and all that. And we had a lovely meeting. It was only the two of us, except when he put somebody on the phone to talk about the polls. So, whatever people said about it there, didn’t come from me, or maybe it came from somebody in his staff, but none of his staff was really in the room. He said, ‘I get tested every day in what I’m doing and the rest of that.’ I said, ‘I think people want to see something more in that regard.’” So let me get this straight:..
#1. She wants us to believe that her and Joe are so deeply Catholic that they’re always praying together and holding their rosaries?? The leaders of the progressive left, the most anti-Christian mainstream political party we’ve seen in our lifetime are asking God for help in the White House??? Give me a break!
And #2. That despite knowing and working closely with Joe Biden for DECADES, and while they’re having these deeply personal, one on one conversations where they’re praying together, discussing the future of the party, and going over all the things that need to be done to reach the voters and win the upcoming election… THROUGH ALL OF THAT, she didn’t notice one thing about Joe’s mental state or see anything different in that Joe Biden than the Joe Biden she knew in the early 2000’s when he was Vice President, or the Joe Biden she worked with in the 1990s and the 1980s??
This shows how stupid she thinks the American people are. That she can say all that with a straight face and expect us to believe it, because she’s Nancy Pelosi and she’s better than you and smarter than you. You’re just a common citizen, she doesn’t operate under the same rules as you do, let alone have to answer you when you call her out on her obvious lies.
And there’s no other way to put it, she’s lying. We all CLEARLY saw how drastic Biden’s mental decline was while in office and WE only got see him when they wanted us to. We only saw him on the “good days”, when he was scripted and meticulously managed. We weren’t alone with him, praying together in the Oval Office… So either she noticed his decline and didn’t do anything about it, or she’s literally the dumbest person on earth. And while Nancy Pelosi has shown herself to be many things over the past 40 years, being dumb is not one of them.
