Psaki claims Biden’s agenda is still popular despite his plummeting approval rating

Written by Christian Datoc, White House correspondent for the Washington Examiner

White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended the popularity of President Joe Biden’s legislative agenda, claiming Monday that the policies are not the cause of his falling approval rating.

Psaki, responding to questions about the “disconnect” in polling on Biden himself and his legislative priorities, claimed that voters remain frustrated by the economy and coronavirus pandemic, which is why the Biden administration’s “No. 1 priority continues to be getting COVID under control.”
