Three days before the eviction ban expires, President Joe Biden is imploring Congress to extend the date because of the delta variant and rising COVID cases.
He insisted that his administration does not have that kind of legal power, but Congress could and should act quickly to have the CDC further extend the eviction ban to protect those who are most vulnerable.
