Biden’s town hall was a bust in Ohio

Posted by katiefitzpatrick on July 21, 2021 in Featured, National News | Leave a response

President Joe Biden traveled to Cinncinati Ohio and partnered with CNN to produce a town hall and ‘answered’ questions some folks were having about infrastructure, inflation, jobs, and COVID.

The audience was kept very small and pushed to the front of the room. Don Lemon hosted the event and T-ed up softball questions for the president to answer. There was stumbling, there was bumbling, and most importantly, there was dancing around answering actual concerns some people shared with the president.

Joe Biden tells a small business owner that his industry is "really going to be in a bind for a little while," and goes on to say that if he wants to hire workers, he'll just have to pay a $15/hr minimum wage: pic.twitter.com/d2uoDsLaVo
