Biden: ‘No one got everything they wanted,’ but $1.75 trillion framework will change America

Before departing for Rome, President Joe Biden spoke at the White House and said that while no one got everything they wanted, the $1.75 trillion social welfare spending framework he proposed on Friday is still consequential and worthy of Democratic support.

Biden stated during his televised address that “any single part of this framework would fundamentally be viewed as a fundamental change in America” and that “taken together, they’re truly consequential.”

The president addressed the divide between centrist and left-wing Democrats on the lengthy negotiations.
